Doctor Who Season 6 Premiere Date Announced
Fellow Whovians, our wait is almost over… the Doctor is back!
BBC America will premiere the new season of Doctor Who, starring Matt Smith, next month. The beloved franchise will launch Saturday, April 23 at 9 p.m. ET with Part 1 of its two-part season premiere.
The season picks up with the Doctor (Smith) and his companions Amy (Karen Gillan) and Rory (Arthur Darvill) finding “themselves on a secret summons that takes them on an adventure from the desert in Utah — right to the Oval Office in 1969.”
The two-parter was penned by Steven Moffat and features guest star Mark Sheppard (Supernatural). Alex Kingston (ER) will also reprise her role as River Song.

That gives me just over a month to get my significant other up to speed with the Doctor. Looks like some marathon viewing is in my near future…
You’re lucky… my wife only made halfway through the Season 5 premiere before she got bored. I guess she at least tried.
(I *will* break down her objections to trying Firefly though)
