Interested in Writing for Guerrilla Geek?
Guerrilla Geek is searching for regular contributors for our collective!
Do you enjoy examining the differences between the Star Wars trilogy and the abominations that came later? Does your idea of an awesome Wednesday involve a visit to your local comic book shop? Do you enjoy discovering new music or films that are off the beaten track? Are you at peace when holding a Nintendo controller? If any of these describe you, we’re interested in hearing from you.
Guerrilla Geek covers all areas of media across the indie and geek subcultures, from the latest album release to that webcomic you adore that no one else has ever heard of. Rather than boxing you in with specific assignments, we want you to dream up your own ideas. Have you always wanted to do an extensive analysis of the original Indiana Jones and the digitally remastered DVDs? Bring it on!
We prefer that our contributors focus on quality over quantity, and submit the best work that they can. Sadly, we are an unpaid site, but we offer experience, exposure, and the opportunity to network.
If you feel that you can satisfy the requirements below, please send your writing samples to us for consideration.
- At least one post per week.
- 500 words minimum.
- A professional approach to writing e.g. no swearing or preaching an agenda.
- A great attitude.
